Brand: Humanforce

Question 1

What is Applied Intelligence?

Accepted Answer

Applied Intelligence is Humanforce's AI capability for workforce management. It uses machine learning to help optimize rostering, forecast demand, flag risks, and surface insights across your operations.

Question 2

What data does AI & Analytics use?

Accepted Answer

Our AI analyses data from across the Humanforce platform: WFM, HR, Payroll, and Benefits. The more data sources connected, the richer the insights.

Question 3

What is Command Centre?

Accepted Answer

Command Centre is the real-time operational dashboard for workforce management. Monitor attendance, coverage, labour costs, and compliance across all locations from a single screen with live data and instant alerts.

Question 4

How does AI improve rostering?

Accepted Answer

AI analyses historical patterns, predicted demand, and business rules to generate optimal rosters automatically. It considers skills, availability, compliance, and cost to create schedules that would take humans hours to build.

Question 5

How accurate is the demand forecasting?

Accepted Answer

Our ML models typically achieve 20-30% better accuracy than traditional methods. Accuracy improves over time as the system learns from your patterns.

Question 6

What can I monitor in Command Centre?

Accepted Answer

Track who is clocked in, coverage status, no-shows, overtime alerts, late arrivals, labour cost vs budget, and compliance exceptions. All in real-time with drill-down to individual sites and shifts.

Question 7

How quickly does data update?

Accepted Answer

Data updates in real-time. When someone clocks in or an exception occurs, you see it immediately. This enables proactive management rather than discovering issues after the fact.

Question 8

Can AI predict staffing needs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, demand forecasting uses historical data, seasonality, events, and external factors to predict how many staff you will need. Build rosters that match expected demand rather than guessing or over-staffing.

Question 9

Do we need a data team to use this?

Accepted Answer

No. The platform is designed for business users, not data scientists. Pre-built dashboards and natural language queries make it accessible to everyone.

Question 10

Does AI help reduce labour costs?

Accepted Answer

Yes, by matching staffing to demand, reducing overtime, and identifying inefficiencies. Customers typically see 3-5% labour cost reduction from AI-powered rostering optimization alone.

Question 11

How does Applied Intelligence differ from regular analytics?

Accepted Answer

Regular analytics tells you what happened. Applied Intelligence tells you why, what's likely to happen next, and what you should do about it.

Question 12

Can I set up custom alerts?

Accepted Answer

Yes, configure alerts for the exceptions that matter to you: no-shows, coverage gaps, overtime thresholds, compliance breaches. Notifications go to the right people via push, email, or SMS.

Question 13

Can we build custom reports and dashboards?

Accepted Answer

Yes. While we provide 100+ pre-built reports, you can create custom dashboards, scheduled reports, and ad-hoc analyses.

Question 14

How does the AI learn and improve?

Accepted Answer

The AI continuously learns from your data and decisions. As patterns emerge and you provide feedback, recommendations become more accurate and aligned with your specific business needs.

Question 15

How does Command Centre help multi-site operations?

Accepted Answer

See all locations in one view with traffic-light status indicators. Quickly identify which sites need attention, compare performance, and ensure consistent standards across your entire operation.

Question 16

Is AI replacing human decision-making?

Accepted Answer

No, AI augments human judgment rather than replacing it. Managers make final decisions with AI handling the heavy lifting of analysis and optimization. You stay in control with better information.

Question 17

How quickly can we see value from Workforce Analytics?

Accepted Answer

Most customers see immediate value from day one with pre-built dashboards covering labour costs, attendance patterns, and compliance metrics. Custom reports and predictive insights develop over time as the system learns your workforce patterns.

Question 18

Can managers take action directly from Command Centre?

Accepted Answer

Yes, click through to take action on any exception. Fill a gap, approve overtime, contact an employee, or drill into details, all from the same interface without switching between screens.
